After 10 years working as a Graphic Designer in the advertising and branding industry, I was up for a new challenge and left on maternity leave to have my first bub.
I was ready to sip lattes and catch up with friends on the daily - that’s what maternity leave is, right?

Little did I know my world was about to be tipped upside down.

Motherhood hit me like a tonne of bricks! 

Overwhelmed and feeling completely out of my depths I found myself questioning who I was and what made me ‘me'.

To give you a bit of context…

Three months in to motherhood - COVID hit.

Four months in - we relocated out of Sydney (where we had lived for the past 10 years).

Six months in - I found out I was pregnant again.

Yep, it was a lot!

Lockdowns, isolation from friends and family, two under two, not being able to go back to work, I was feeling pretty lost. Searching for ways to find a little bit of “the old me” I started to create again, just for fun. I have always had a love for stationery and print and found myself making things for my home and kids.

This is where O’baebe began…

I found a new spark and remembered what it felt like to design out of love and not because it’s what a client wanted. I used designing as a way to keep my home beautiful and organised and I hope it does the same for you.
